Bachelor Express's Luxury 3-Stop between Davao and Butuan was priced at 725.00, the same as the Regular Trip and the 12-Stop, because all three share one trip type in the data. The posted fare for the 3-Stop is 770.00 straight, 620.00 for Students, Seniors and PWDs -- worth noting because 20% off 770.00 would be 616.00, and the operator charges 620.00. The Regular Trip and 12-Stop keep 725.00 with 590.00 concession, and the Luxury Non-Stop keeps 895.00 with 715.00.

Zamboanga to Cotabato: Rural Transit's own schedule, not Mindanao Star's

Rural Transit's Zamboanga to Cotabato departures matched Mindanao Star's times exactly -- 2:00 AM, 4:40 AM, 4:30 PM, 6:15 PM, 8:15 PM, 10:15 PM -- which is the mark of one operator's schedule having been copied onto the other rather than recorded from its own board. Rural Transit's actual posted schedule is 4:40 AM, 4:30 PM, 6:30 PM, 8:30 PM and 10:10 PM: no 2:00 AM trip, and the three evening departures each 15 to 20 minutes off from what was shown. Mindanao Star's own nine departures are unchanged, and so is Cotabato to Zamboanga in both directions. Fare stays at 1,060.00 full, 850.00 SP/SC.

Cagayan de Oro to Tandag: six departures, and four of the old times were wrong

Bachelor Express, running as Bachelor Tours, posts six trips out of Cagayan de Oro: 12:00 MN, 3:00 AM, 4:30 AM, 6:00 AM, 7:30 AM and 9:00 AM, the last trip. MindaRide was carrying five, and only the 3:00 AM was right -- there was no midnight or 4:30 AM run listed at all, and the 5:15 AM, 8:20 AM and 9:40 AM are not on the operator's board. Anyone planning around the old 5:15 AM would have arrived 45 minutes after the 4:30 AM that actually leaves. The fare is unchanged at 985.00, with 788.00 for Students, Seniors and PWDs. Only the Cagayan de Oro direction changes: the poster covers that side alone, so Tandag to Cagayan de Oro keeps its own departures until an operator schedule for it turns up.

Zamboanga to Dipolog night trips now live, and the route is findable again

Rural Transit's Rural Tours corridor between Zamboanga City and Dipolog City had a fare on file but no departures at all, so it came up empty. The operator's posted schedule is now on MindaRide in both directions, and it is a night service throughout -- there is no daytime bus on this route. Departures are 6:00 PM, 8:00 PM, 10:00 PM and 11:45 PM, which the operator calls the last trip, on an 8 to 10 hour run, so plan to sleep on the bus and to arrive in the morning. The straight fare is 755.00, with 605.00 for Students, Seniors and PWDs -- worth noting because 20% off 755.00 would be 604.00, and the operator charges 605.00. The corridor was also filed under 'Dipolog via Shariff Aguak', a road it does not take -- it runs straight up the peninsula through Pagadian -- which is why searching Zamboanga to Dipolog City found nothing. It is filed under Dipolog City now. A route guide comes with it.

Butuan City to Tandag is Bachelor Express at 510.00, and it shares the Surigao road as far as Mainit before turning down the Pacific coast -- so check the board, the two buses look alike at the Butuan terminal. Zamboanga to Cotabato is the one to read carefully: the two directions are scheduled differently, with most Zamboanga departures running overnight, while out of Cotabato Rural Transit takes the mornings and Mindanao Star the evenings, at 1,060.00 and 1,050.00. Cagayan de Oro to Surigao is a single 770.00 ticket across the north coast by way of Butuan, twelve departures a day -- and it leaves from Agora, not Bulua.

The Bislig routes were only findable by typing Mangagoy, the district of Bislig City where the terminal is and the name the operator prints on the board. You can now search either name and reach the same buses. Two guides come with it. Butuan City to Bislig is Bachelor Express at a flat 500.00, 6 to 8 hours down the Agusan valley through Bayugan, San Francisco and Hinatuan -- the stop for the Enchanted River. Davao City to Bislig is the same operator at 464.00 over 315 kilometres, sharing the Davao de Oro highway with the Butuan services. Both run on two timetables, one for Friday to Monday and a different one for Tuesday to Thursday.

Guides are now published for four of the busiest corridors that did not have one. Cagayan de Oro to Iligan runs every 30 minutes around the clock on Rural Transit and Super Five at a flat 200.00 -- and leaves from Bulua, not Agora. Surigao to Butuan is Bachelor Express at 305.00, on two different timetables: a heavier one Friday to Monday and a lighter one Tuesday to Thursday, which is the detail that catches midweek travellers out. Davao to Kidapawan is Mindanao Star every half hour at 263.00. Davao to Digos is three operators at a flat 125.00, and any southbound bus out of Davao will take you there.

The two directions of Ceres Transport's General Santos corridor do not mirror each other, and MindaRide was showing the southbound times on both. Cubao to General Santos leaves at 7:00 AM every Tuesday and Saturday from the CT Terminal on EDSA Kamuning, Cubao QC. General Santos to Cubao is unchanged -- 4:00 AM every Wednesday and Saturday from Bulaong Terminal. The two overlap on Saturday only, so anyone who assumed one from the other was three hours early on the wrong day. The fare stays at 6,450.00, with 5,510.00 for Students, Seniors and PWDs.

Davao's three long inter-island corridors quote a bus fare and a ferry fare separately, and only the bus fare was being shown. All three now display what the trip actually costs door to door. Davao - Tacloban City is 2,160.00 (1,760.00 bus + 400.00 ferry). Davao - Ormoc City is 2,281.00 (1,886.00 bus + 395.00 ferry). Davao - Tagbilaran City is 2,907.00 (1,557.00 bus + 1,350.00 ferry). The 20% Student/Senior/PWD concession applies to the bus leg only -- the ferry is a separate operator and is charged in full -- so the discounted fares are 1,808.00, 1,903.00 and 2,595.00 respectively.
